Vinegar and Sugar to clean cups

Vinegar Sugar
I read about this tip some time ago, and since we do not have dish-washing machine anymore, our cups tend to get tea stained after some months of regular tea-drinking usage.

What you need is:

  1. Some regular vinegar, any kitchen vinegar will do.
  2. Some regular sugar, any kitchen sugar will do.

The procedure is also very simple. Into the cup or mug you want to clean, you put one teaspoon of vinegar, and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Then with your finger, you mix it little around, and then start to rub the sides of the cup. The tea coloring will disappear after just few light rubs. Some hard stains might take little more rubbing, but less than 1 minute you should have it all away. If you do not like to get vinegar on your fingers, you can use some window-cleaning leather, or just one of those cleaning rubber gloves. Finally, you clean with water and possibly soap, and your cup should be as good as new.

Try it out, its amazing how simple it is, and how good it works :-)
